What is the Tiki Mermaid?
The Tiki Mermaid is a floating Tiki lounge equipped with a full bar, dance floor, Polynesian décor, kitschy palm trees, overstuffed sofas and anything else
that makes up a fun trendy bar.
Is it a luxury liner like I see on the OC?
Absolutely not. It’s a fun club-like venue , much like you find in Hollywood, except on a boat.
Will I have my own table?
Nope. Everybody shares cocktail tables, bar stools, tables, outdoor benches and laps. J
If I get there early can I reserve seats for my friends?
We ask that nobody reserve seats unless you are in them so everyone can enjoy all of our lovely spaces. All seating is open.
Will I freeze my butt off?
Not usually. There are heaters, lots of indoor space, and mucho body heat.
Is the boat handicapped accessible?
How do I reserve my spot?
You MUST reserve online at: http://www.tikimermaid.com/public_cruises.html All reservations are subject to tax and service charge. We are not able to
process reservations over the phone.
Why do you charge a service charge when I already paid for the ticket?
Because we are a food and beverage establishment, unlike a restaurant, we do not give you a check at the end of your meal. Therefore we ask that you please
take care of the tax and service charge in advance.
Can I cancel the reservation?
Yes, cancellations must be made via email- firstname.lastname@example.org or from www.bookeo.com/tikimermaid You MUST cancel your reservation 48 hours prior to event boarding time or you
will forfeit your voucher or ticket.
What if I have an emergency situation and need to cancel last minute?
We sympathize, however because we could not sell that spot last minute to another party, and it is a loss of business for us, we are unable to refund or
reschedule any ticket within 48 hours of boarding time for ANY reason whatsoever. NO EXCEPTIONS.
When should I reserve?
You can reserve any time there is availability. It is strongly suggested that should you decide to use your voucher toward the end of the expiration date,
you reserve well in advance. Cruises fill up quickly, especially toward the end of promotional runs. Reservations well in advance are always suggested.
What time should I get there?
It’s best to arrive fifteen minutes before the boarding time. Boarding times are usually thirty minutes before scheduled departure times.
Can I let someone else use my ticket?
Absolutely! Just have them check in using your name at their time of arrival using your cruise.
What do I need to bring with me?
Just your ID, dancing shoes, a jacket (if you want to enjoy the outdoors) and some drink money (the bar takes credit cards too).
What kind of food is served?
An appetizer buffet generally consisting of meatballs, vegetable lasagna or pasta salad, dip and chips, cheese platter etc. Items are subject to change
Can I get a special order, I have food allergies?
Unfortunately not, there is no kitchen on board. We simply cannot accommodate special requests, sorry.
Are drinks included?
All drinks including water are available for purchase. We offer a special $5 Blue Mermaid Margarita.
Is there a DJ?
Generally cruises either have a DJ or steel drums, but there is no guarantee. There is always good music playing.
If there is live music can I make special requests?
Unfortunately not. DJs have preprogrammed playlists according to the advertised themes of the cruise.
Where do I park?
Fisherman’s Village has a huge lot, we validate for two hours so bring down your ticket. Please remember, DO NOT BACK IN, there are no signs, but they do
Can I park for free anywhere?
Yes. At “Dock 52” located about 600 ft before you reach our location on the right.
It’s my Birthday! Can I bring a cake or cupcakes?
Due to health department regulations no outside food of any type is allowed on board the vessel.
Can I bring alcohol on board?
Only white wine or champagne, you must let us know in advance via email. There is a $20 per bottle corkage fee.
