Yacht Booking FAQ
How long is the cruise?
Most cruises are 3 hours. You can extend for an additional charge at booking or during your cruise (subject to crew availability).
Do I need an exact number of guests to book?
No, just provide an estimated number of guests and if more guests show up than you booked, we’ll simply charge your card on file for any additional guests after the charter (subject to the vessel capacity).

What initial deposit do I need to pay?
A deposit of $1500 is required to reserve your booking.
The remaining balance is due within 7 days of the event
Payment due dates may vary based on the boat, date, or departure time.
Will I receive a receipt / confirmation?
Yes, you will receive a receipt via email that will include the booking confirmation.
What if I need to change the booking date, time, or request to switch boats?

What happens if my guest count changes after booking?
If your guests count changes, just let us know prior to your event. Please keep in mind our yachts have a maximum capacity determined by the United States Coast Guard. The Tiki Mermaid carries a maximum of 62 guests and the Tiki Too, 49 guests.
When does the balance need to be paid?
The balance is typically due 7 days before your event unless the charter is booked less than 7 days prior.
What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel, all deposits made less than 60 days prior to the event are non-refundable. We can discuss making changes to your booking to avoid cancellation. Other payments will be subject to review in accordance with our terms and conditions in our Charter Agreement.
Are there any hidden costs?
There are no hidden costs associated with our event pricing. Your receipt will itemize everything, including any gratuity and government taxes/fees.
What happens if the weather is bad?
In the event of extreme weather, the cruise may be cancelled. We will try to give advance notice so you can notify your guests and will either issue you a refund or discuss rescheduling for a future date according to our Charter Agreement.
Can we bring or own alcohol on board?
No. Our alcohol license does not allow outside alcohol to be brought on our vessels.
• Additonally, no liquids of any kind, including bottled water, sodas, energy drinks, etc., are allowed to be brought onboard by guests.
• USCG regulations require us to search all bags prior to boarding.
Arriving for your charter
• Be sure to arrive at the dock at least 30 minutes prior to the event.
• We allow 2 persons from your party to board 30 minutes before to decorate for the event or to set up food.
• Boarding of guests begins 15 minutes prior to departure time.
• We do not have set departure times. The boat will depart when you are ready and all of your guests have arrived.
• Guests are required to sign in prior to boarding in order to have an accurate passenger count in the unlikely event of an emergency.
• Our alcohol license does not allow for outside alcohol to be brought on our vessel.

Parking
Fisherman’s Village Parking Lot:
13755 Fiji Way, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292
Pay at one of 4 ticket machines. They require your license plate number so, unless you can remember the number, take a photo of it before leaving your car. Select the $8 option and place the receipt on your dash. The county will also ticket you for backing your car into the space and not parking between the lines. Fines are $65!

Boarding Directions:
From the Fisherman’s Village parking lot, walk toward the lighthouse and someone from our crew will let you know when it’s time to board. Boarding time is 15 mins prior to departure.
